June 17, 2013 - Pylba Inc, an international technology company that develops services for mobile news, released its app „Simply“ for the German iTunes App Store.
Simply simplifies news reading on the iPhone, providing the most important news from hundreds of sources quickly, conveniently and elegantly.
Under Top News, Simply offers the 10 most important news, continuously selected through comprehensive automatic analysis from more than 100,000 current news articles. For that purpose, Simply builds a complete national news pool, sorts similar articles into groups, and rates the importance of each group, based on relevance and diversity of sources.
Further categories from politics to culture are available, as well as local news and user-defined topics.
Pylba cooperates with publishers who can offer their content through Simply in an ideal manner. For partner content, Simply automatically generates meaningful summaries of each article, and offers the full text in a most reader-friendly way.
Publishers benefit from Simply even without a partnership. Users are shown the RSS text of the published article. From there, the original text at the publisher’s website is linked, increasing the reach of publishers and letting new audiences find such content.
Beyond its functional strengths, Simply is special due to its elegant design. Simply is handled just through a few gestures. The usual interface elements from the PC world are consistently avoided by Simply.
Franz Buchenberger, CEO of Pylba, says: “Relevant news on mobile devices should be read easily and efficiently. That’s what Simply is for.“
Pylba Inc., an international startup with headquarters in California and strong engineering in Germany, creates new services that enable news consumption on mobile devices in unique ways. The mobile app „Simply“ will be launched in Q2/2013, and aims to become the standard for quickly getting an informed overview on what is relevant and new. Pylba has secured investments from HTGF, strategic partners and business angels. For more information about Pylba, please visit: http://www.pylba.com
